I am an animator. To me, making characters’ move is to breathe life into them. I love the grand gestures and actions of course, but it’s the tiny details that leads to something great. It’s the minute actions that pull people into the cinematics. When I was younger, I would often be captivated by the trailers and cinematics for games. This is my goal for my work, to bring a similar feeling of awe to viewers.
I studied and graduated with my bachelors for Game Design at University of Central Florida. During my time I worked on many semester long game projects with fellow passionate students. The team size average around fifteen students. Many lessons were learned, with an emphasis overall game design and always having a critical mind when it comes to everything. One of the most important traits I took away from UCF is to be an autodidact. I am proud to say most of the things I know are self-taught, either by reading up on online documentation or testing things myself. I continued my education by attending the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), the game design masters program offered at UCF. FIEA provided a more realistic workspace environment for me to work on rapid prototypes, capstone projects, and other personal work.
